This easy-to-install system employs a patented slide-and-slot method of mounting. No screws, connectors, or tracks are visible. As the shelf is locked to the shelf bracket (sold individually, SKU# 35309; two brackets needed per shelf) and the shelf bracket is locked to the wall, a very strong and rigid shelving system is created. Using hidden mounting connectors, the patented shelf bracket system locks the shelf bracket in place. This shelf must be mounted into wall studs, it will not mount into cement or thick plastered walls. Each bracket will support up to 75 lbs when mounted into studs, for a total of 150lbs per shelf. These products are available in White (constructed of MDF Board with a lacquered finish) or Alder, made of a solid alder wood (search SKU #35290) which can be stained or painted to match your decor. These shelf brackets come with all of the mounting hardware necessary to mount to any shelf. Brackets are sold separately and individually, and 2 brackets must be used to support the shelf.
